I feel this spell along with the standard Meteorite is often overlooked when it comes to damage potential and for nuking bosses. You can get the Meteorite staff really early in the game and it is useable for the entirety of the game. Specially when you dual wield it with the main staff of your choice to get 30% damage buff for the gravity spells like Rock sling and Meteorite.
