SNOWY ESCAPE CONTROVERSY RESPONSE- SIMS 4 NEWS 2020
The Sims 4 Snowy Escape, the new expansion pack and last dlc of 2020 , launched with most positive reactions to the trailer, with excitement over snowboarding and skiing gameplay, Japanese culture, and even features like lifestyle and sentiments. But a controversy over the shrine arose, especially amongst South Korean players, considering imagery in the Sims 4 Snowy Escape and potential shrine worship as offensive.
The Sims team/ Sim Guru Graham has responded to the controversy, announced an update to the trailer and to the gameplay and CAS items in Sims 4 Snowy Escape.
