Easy free way to play & convert HEVC HVC1 H.265 video on older Mac OS Sierra
If you're on Mac OS Sierra and having problems playing HVC1 HEVC or H.265 codec video on things like Quicktime then instead of upgrading your OS, you can use VLC to easily convert them.
