Mastering Revit API.
Archi-lab | https://archi-lab.net/
In this course I want to continue building on last year's Revit API Masterclass. Last year we learned how to setup a Shared Project environment in Visual Studio to handle multiple Revit API versions. We also discussed creating your first plugin via External Command button. Finally we touched on creating user interfaces via WPF. This year, I want to take us a few steps further by creating a Dockable Window and embedding it directly into Revit's UI. We can use that Dockable Window to explore couple of more complex Revit API concepts like subscribing to events in Revit, using External Events to query the model from the UI thread and finally using events to communicate between External Event handlers and our app. At the end of this workshop we should have a real-time dashboard app that you can deploy to your office.
