You are watching "The Three Little Pigs Musical Story for Preschoolers", a children's favorite fairy tale retold by The Teolets. The Three Little Pigs is a fable about three pigs who build three houses of different materials. A Big Bad Wolf blows down the first two pigs' houses made of hay/straw and sticks respectively, but is unable to destroy the third pig's house which is made of bricks.
The primary moral lesson learned from "The Three Little Pigs" is that hard work and dedication pay off. While the first two pigs quickly built homes and had more free time to play, the third pig labored in the construction of his house of bricks.
Fun Facts About the Original Story of the Three Little Pigs:
1. The names of the three little pigs in the original story were: Browny, Whitey, and Blacky;
2. Each piggy had their own character: Browny was a dirty lazy pig, Whitey was clever but greedy and selfish and Blacky was a nice little pig, neither dirty nor lazy;
3. Browny, Whitey, and Blacky were ordered to build their houses by their mom before she passed away;
4. Browny wanted a house of mud, Whitey dreamt of a house made of cabbage and Blacky wanted a house of bricks;
5. In the original story the part of the Big Bad Wolf is taken by a cunning Fox who was after the pigs.
