With almost 300M Monthly active users and the world's largest podcast "The Joe Rogan Podcast" moving to the platform, it's only natural to ask whether Spotify is taking over streaming. The Swedish company, run by its founder Daniel Eik, is seeing strong user and revenue growth.

Whether you listening in on a phone, car, PC or gaming console, there's a good chance its on Spotify. From it's world leading content library and discover features, it is top of mind with consumers and has almost become synonymous with music.

Spotify IPO in 2018 and has had a decent run since then, but mostly going sideways, something not unusual for hot tech IPOS. With a solidifying lead and Joe Rogan joining the team, Spotify's share price has broken out of its trend and might be setting up for a great run.

Spotify is also financially sound and is able to keep spending to maintain its growth and invest in new revenue streams like video or original content.
