Nipsey Hussle was a musician, entrepreneur, and philanthropist who worked tirelessly to create the clothing store he called “The Marathon”.
Nipsey’s primary goal for The Marathon was to offer clothing that embodied the streetwear culture of Los Angeles that he grew up in. He wanted the clothes to be designed, manufactured, and sold locally in Los Angeles, thus creating jobs and circulating money within the city. He also made sure that The Marathon was affordable, so that everyone in the community could buy nice clothes.
Nipsey Hussle was a true innovator in both business and music. We can learn important lessons from him about setting up our own businesses with a vision for sustainability – even after we’re no longer around. Through his hard work and dedication, Nipsey was able to create a legacy that will last for generations to come.
