Luton Town 3 Liverpool 0 28/01/1987 FA Cup 3rd round 2nd replay
Liverpool's second pasting of the 1986/87 season at Kenilworth Road, losing 3-0 to Luton in the FA Cup 3rd round second replay. Brian Stein (free kick), Mick Harford (penalty) and Mike Newell scored the goals.
The first match finished 0-0. Luton didn't turn up for the original replay at Anfield, blaming snow (although their fans made it), and the rearranged game also finished 0-0. I remember there being some controversy over where the 2nd replay should be played, but it ended up at everyone's favourite plastic pitch / away fan ban venue (not that I'm still bitter...)
