This week, I wanted to share my favorite Growth Hack for acquiring competitors' customers.
1. Collect a list of your competitors' SaaS customers from Nerdydata.com and pro.builtwith.com.
2. Add the emails into Google Sheets/Excel in Column A. In Column B, add this formula: =(CONCATENATE(A1, " site:linkedin.com/in/ (owner OR Founder OR CEO OR President)")).
3. Contact on LinkedIn:
My preferred way is to contact via LinkedIn, then use cold emails after, but it's optional. Upload the Google Sheet you've just created and do a custom search using this tool: https://linkprospector.citationlabs.c....
You'll get a completed list, then upload all of the LinkedIn URLs to this tool: https://linkedhelper.com and Auto Connect with the prospects, then send automated messages to the prospects (I suggest 1 per week over 8 weeks).
4. Contact via Email:
Use Snov.io or Hunter.io - Upload the customer's website lists to either platform; they'll pull together a list of emails that you can use for cold email to pitch your services directly to your competitor's customers.
Assuming you aren't doing this manually, pull into your CRM or use Mailshake or Woodpecker.
