In this tutorial, I'll show how to create the Nyan Cat pixel art, generating starburst animations in the background and also adding some music. I'll be recreating this using Photoshop, Unity 3D and Playmaker, as well as Audacity to edit the music file.

The tools used in this tutorial: Unity 3D to bring everything together, Photoshop to create the Nyan Cat Pixel Art, easy Playmaker to generate the background, and Audacity to tweak the music. This can be a great beginning for a game prototype. I'll create the trail from the cat as a particle system inside Unity.
