Twitter growth hack: 0 to 5000 in 60 days
I am obsessed with learning about Twitter growth.
And after I gained 5000 followers in just 2 months, this
is what I found out works best:
Build relationships
1 000 true fans are better than 1 000 000 unengaged followers
Find your people, the ones genuinely interested in what you have to say. Engage with them first and most – they’ll make the biggest difference.
Stop trying to be original
See what other creators in your space are doing well. Then put your own spin on it. Get inspired, borrow ideas and make them your own.
Build your brand
Building a brand is a journey. You won’t make it by showing up once a week/ month. Commit to showing up daily, even if it’s just a quick tweet or 15 replies.
And the best part?
You can use this strategy to grow on all social media platforms.
‘Cuz in the end, social media... is about being social.
