Where to find magnetite in Subnautica 2024
Magnetite is a resource that can be found in Subnautica and is used to craft a variety of items.
In this video, I will show you where you will find magnetite early on in Subnautica. As you explore deeper, you will find more sources of magnetite, but in order to do this, you'll need to gain the capability to dive deeper. To do this you need magnetite. Sounds like a catch-22, but don't worry, there are some more shallow areas where you can pick up a few pieces donning only a high-capacity O2 tank and either your Seaglide or your Seamoth (if you're fortunate enough to already have one.)
Note that if you don't have your Seamoth, there is plenty of silver (you'll need this to build the Seamoth) where we're going so you'll have your Seamoth up and running in no time!
