This is part 1 of a grass optimization tutorial for Unreal Engine 4. We are first going to start by creating our grass using 3Ds Max and after baking textures. I'll show you 2 ways of creating our textures, 1st one using 3Ds Max Bake to Texture and 2nd using Substance Painter. Foliage Unreal Engine 4 is something that is improtant to be optimized for your game and it can improve the performance a lot.
Part 2 is coming soon and there we will create our LODs and Materials in Unreal Engine 4.
