Does Size or Gender ACTUALLY Matter in ARK: Survival Evolved? | PC | PS | XBOX
Welcome to a quick video deep-diving into the aspects of character creation and exploring the differences between character size and gender. There seems to be a lot of misconceptions floating around on the internet as to whether or not your survivor's size and gender matters, and I plan on addressing most of those topics in this video. Does changing the size of your Survivor change their respective hitbox? Does a male Survivor have a larger hitbox than a female Survivor? Does a male character have a faster melee swing speed than a female character? Do longer arms mean a longer reach with melee weapons? Does your Survivor's size inhibit their ability to crawl into smaller places? All of these questions will be addressed in the most logical way I could devise, and hopefully put all of the misinformation and questioning to rest.
