MAN TGX D2676 EURO 6 - NO COMPRESSION / CYLINDER REPAIR / REPLACING SEAT VALVES / engine repair
A MAN TGX 18.440 Euro6 tractor arrived for repairs. According to the owner - the thrust was gone, plus the motor was zatroil. Initial diagnostics showed that there was no compression in the 2 and 3 cylinders. Fuel system diagnostics revealed no major problems. Therefore, the compression was checked mechanically using a false nozzle - the diagnostics showed zero compression in the 3 cylinder. (MAN THC Euro 6).
In the video, we removed the Cylinder Head, when checking the valves, it was revealed that 1 valve burned out, one valve turned out to be crooked. At the same time, the cylinder head was soon changed to a contractual one, changed from an official MAN dealer in Russia.
