Microsoft Office Deployment Tool - Really Bad Error Message
While deploying Microsoft Office 2019 using the Microsoft Office Deployment Tool, I accidentally input the wrong configuration file name. The error that was reported by the tool had nothing to do with the actual error and therefore it took me entirely too long to solve the problem and complete the install.
The Microsoft Office Installation Tool error returned a window that stated, "Couldn't install" and "We're sorry, we had a problem installing your Office program(s).”
The resolution offered by the message was a couple of questions, "Is your internet connection working? Do you have enough free space on your main hard drive?" with the error code "Error Code: 30029-1007 (0)".
In this video, I show my resolution for this error which turned out that I had accidentally mis-named the configuration file.
