. How To Create star wars text crawl effect - text crawl premiere pro Tutorial
Hello Adobe Premiere Pro Video Editors, In this video i will teach you how to create the popular star wars intro crawling text effect in premiere pro.
To create this unique text crawl effect you need to select file, new, legacy title.
Next select the type tool and type in your desired text however long you need it to be. now to animate your text to crawl like star wars title, choose Text Roll/Crawl Options, select roll and check the start off screen and end off screen options Crawl. and close the legacy title dialogue box and this would automatically appear in your project panel.
Next drag in your newly created texts into your timeline and move to the effects library and search for the corner pin effect. drag this effect unto your title, this will create some blue circles at the top left and right of your screen. drag both circles to the center of your screen until they converge at the middle of the screen. this would create the star wars crawling text effect in your video.
you can also adjust the speed of the crawling text by reducing or increasing the length of the legacy title on your timeline.
