In this shorts video we will learn how to write the equation of a line. We will begin by discovering that all the given answer choices are in slope-intercept form; y=mx+b. We will then review the information about the line that is given. We will create a table of order pairs, or points, on the line. We will review that every y-intercept is an ordered pair with an x-coordinate of zero. We will find the slope of the line by identifying the change in y and dividing by the change in x. We will then write the equation of the line by replacing m, the slope, and b, the y-intercept, with our identified values. We we then select the correct answer. An exemplar solution is modeled and explained.
