How To Fix Task Host Is Stopping Background Tasks In Windows 10 ?
Sometimes, while trying to shutdown Windows 10, you may face an error message that says, ‘Closing 1 app and shutting down’ and ‘Task Host is stopping background tasks’.
To fix this problem, follow these steps:
1. Open ‘Run’ command box – Type ‘Regedit’ to open Registry Edit Window.
2. Follow this path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE – SYSTEM – CurrentControlSet – Services – WpnUserService.
3. After selecting ‘WpnUserService’ go to right hand side and open the key named ‘start’.
4. Change its value data to 4. Click OK.
5. Restart your computer.
