Departure airport: LTFJ
You can watch videos without subscribing therefore you should watch several of them before subscribing to ensure this is the kind of content you want to keep watching. Unfortunately, if you expect professional piloting and ultra-realistic visuals and operations, that can't be found here and this won't change. Please look for other channels. If you watch I hope you enjoy it regardless. Otherwise, there are many YouTube channels out there for you. Go there instead of being annoying in the comments. Obviously, this is not the place to learn how to fly. If you want to learn, please look for people who know what they are doing. I do some things wrong both willingly and unintentionally. Most importantly, I'm just some random dude on the internet who uploads videos. Tame your expectations.
Nvidia Game Filters: I use the Nvidia Game Filters for all my truck and flight simulators except X-Plane 11. My filters can be found here https://imgur.com/a/tJwTuWO. I use HDR and the videos are in SDR. Unfortunately, you can't see exactly how it looks on my monitor and your sim probably won't look exactly as mine looks in the videos. I have tried different things and got different results. All of them sucked. If you have a solid HDR to SDR conversion solution please share.

Gameplay capture software: OBS Studio
Video editing software: Free edition of Davinci Resolve
Sim camera software: I manually create my camera presets/views. I use the default camera systems for both simulators. On X-Plane, I use A-Better-Camera plugin specifically for airports that have bad tower views.
Where am I from: Kenya
Am I a real-world pilot: No, not even in my dreams.
Do I have any real-world aviation experience: No
Do I plan to get a pilot's license: No
Preferred sim: The one that is most suitable for the flight I want to do, considering the availability and quality of the add-ons. I love MSFS2020's visuals and X-Plane's aircraft handling. I am looking forward to MSFS2024 hoping it has the best of both worlds.
Do I know what I'm doing: Probably not
Feedback: Constructive feedback is welcome, but remember that my combination of flight simulation software and hardware will never match the real thing. I can only be as good as the tools I'm using. I also don't aim for full immersion or accuracy and will forego some things for convenience. My real-world profession (software development) is demanding enough for me therefore I will always use flight sims for entertainment/relaxation rather than for aviation proficiency. I'm also dumber than a truck tyre and have a few disorders (the brain of a house fly) that make things a little harder. That being said, many thanks go to the people who have tried to help me fly better. I may not always be able to follow the advice depending on the effort needed to apply it, but I try where possible.
