I devoted today's video to a simple, at first glance, type of work in an apiary – planting a fetal uterus. It should be understood that there are a huge number of methods and their application depends on various conditions, both natural and intra-communal.
Today I have a fairly simple task - to plant a uterus in a small layering in which the old uterus works. I found and removed the "old" uterus and placed a new fetal uterus in the transfer cell in the family. After waiting two days, I was convinced of the absence of aggression towards the queen (the grid is not polarized, the bees sit quietly on the cage), opened two holes in the aft compartment at once. Although it is necessary, and this is true, to open the holes in turn, first small, then large. A few days later, I checked the family's condition, although it can be done in a day. I was convinced of the reception of the uterus. It should be noted that before opening the holes, you need to check the family for the laying of the uterine glands and open them only in their absence. If they are, then tear off everything and let the cell lie for a couple more days and so on until the bees have the opportunity to bring out their queens.
Thus, the queen can be planted in 3 days without much fear for her life. But most importantly, you need to carefully monitor the condition of the family and the attitude of bees to the new queen. Good luck and Peace to all of you!
