Leveraging Performance Management Tools: make full use of Firebase Performance Monitoring and Macrobenchmark to introduce Jetpack Compose (taimu_shimizu)

Overview:
This session will discuss tackling performance issues in app development, and the introduction of Jetpack Compose as well as the significance of this introduction. Performance is an area that is often put on the back burner compared to crashes and bugs, but this session will show you why it is important and what you can do about it.

Content Details:

This presentation will provide an overview of what Firebase Performance Monitoring is and how to use it.
I will also describe Macrobenchmark, a performance-based tool, and how to use it.
Examples of how we have actually utilized these tools will be shared. Specifically, I will talk about post-release monitoring in general and how we used these tools during the implementation of Jetpack Compose.

Through the real-life example of our experience with the challenge of introducing Jetpack Compose, I hope to provide attendees useful information on the difficulties of performance management and how we handled them.
