Manjaro Linux won't start after video card change / as ed. grub on boot, select kernel

Boot up, wait for the black screen (the hard one stops almost blinking). Wait a couple more minutes to make sure that the system is, as it were, ready to enter commands ...
Press together:
Ctrl+Alt+F2
Enter root and your password
commands:
pacman -rdd nvidia-340xx-utils
mhwd -r pci video-nvidia-340xx
mhwd -a pci nonfree 0300

Removed a dependency that caused the last command to NOT work if not removed)
Then they removed the driver itself and installed the latest one (with a closed code). Then reboot and do your nice things.
