The Datacolor SpyderX Pro is definitely designed for serious photographers and designers to achieve color management, personally I also use it for videos as well, because what I have started doing is using my color checker and also having my monitor calibrated just bring me steps close to seeing exactly what my colors are supposed to look like.

The before and after is something you can really tell after the calibration with the serious Datacolor SpyderX Pro, there is also a room light monitor which is integrated which allows you to monitor your room lighting throughout the day so it is able to adjust brightness and contrast to ideal levels.

Just note that you are not able to calibrate your TV unless you have a pc hooked up to it than in that instance yes because this saves the calibrated to the video settings on the pc.

Also looking at reviews before I got this its all positive and now I know why because this thing really works.
