An international research team has built a detailed 3D model of the Milky Way, showing the galaxy’s warp over time. The team, made up of researchers from the University of Warsaw in Poland, The Ohio State University, and The University of Warwick in England, analyzed images of nearly 2,500 classical Cepheid stars to create the model, the most comprehensive of its kind.
