*Stock 1: Marico*
*Impact:* Marico, the company behind Parachute coconut oil, has significant operations in Bangladesh. In FY24, 44% of Marico's international revenue came from Bangladesh. While the company aims to reduce this dependency to 40% by FY27, that's still three years away.
*Stock 2: Dabur*
*Impact:* Dabur, a major player in the FMCG sector, manufactures a wide range of consumer goods in Bangladesh, including hair care, oral care, home care, healthcare, and skincare products. The company's sales exposure in Bangladesh makes it vulnerable to the ongoing unrest.
*Stock 3: Emami*
*Impact:* Emami established its operations in Bangladesh in 2004, manufacturing, importing, and selling cosmetics and ayurvedic medicines from its Dhaka facility. In FY24, 5% of Emami's revenue came from Bangladesh, making it another stock to watch closely.
*Stock 4: VIP Industries*
*Impact:* VIP Industries, a leading luggage maker, has a substantial presence in Bangladesh with eight manufacturing facilities. These facilities contribute 30-35% of the company's total production capacity, making VIP particularly vulnerable to disruptions in the region.
*Stock 5: Jubilant FoodWorks*
*Impact:* Jubilant FoodWorks, the owner of Domino’s Pizza, has been expanding its presence in Bangladesh. As of FY23, the company opened eight new stores, bringing its total to 17 across the country. However, Bangladesh contributes only 1% of the company’s total sales.
