Devlog 0 - I am making a horror game about an evil robot
Welcome to my channel and my first devlog! My name is Mr. Quantum, and I am an indie game developer. I'm excited to share with you the progress of my latest project, a horror game that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat. In this video, I'll be showing you a behind-the-scenes look at the development process and giving you a sneak peek of what's to come.
First, I'll be introducing you to the circular stadium, which serves as the playing field for the game. The walls of the stadium are made of a hollow cylinder, and the ground is textured with a PBR soil texture. I'll also be showing you the minimap, which will be a helpful tool for the player to navigate the arena.
As the game progresses, the player will encounter a robot villain, which will be the main antagonist of the game. The robot will be able to hear the player's footsteps if they are close enough, so the player must be careful not to be caught.
The player will also need to collect items and solve puzzles to unlock a key that will unlock the stadium door and allow them to escape. The game is designed to be a challenge, as the player is completely defenseless against the robot and must rely on their wits and stealth to survive.
