Full of dreams, Sakshi Dalmia’s world turned upside down when she started losing her vision. It felt like her aspiration of becoming a chartered accountant was shattered. But things changed when she found the ‘Discovering Hands’ initiative and participated in it.

The program offers training to Sakshi and many other visually impaired colleagues like her to use their incredibly sensitive fingertips in the early detection of breast cancer. Today, she can find lumps as small as 6 mm, thus increasing the patient’s chances of survival through early detection.
