PROCESS : -
Pour the baking soda in the funnel.
Next, add the vinegar.
Cover the mouth of the funnel with the balloon.
Watch the balloon inflate!
WHY THIS HAPPENS?
The baking soda and the vinegar create an ACID-BASE reaction and the two chemicals work together to create a gas, carbon dioxide.
Gases need space to move and therefore it moves into the balloon and inflates it.
