In "The Tale of Benjamin Bunny", children's book author Beatrix Potter brings to life the little critters of the English countryside. The story opens with Benjamin Bunny noticing Mr McGregor and his wife pass by in their gig. Never one to miss such an opportunity for naughty adventures, Benjamin rushes off to find his cousin, Peter Rabbit, who lives behind the McGregor's garden.

Although Peter is still smarting from his run-in with Mr McGregor (as told in "The Tale of Peter Rabbit"), he is easily tempted by his young cousin. The mischievous cousins Benjamin Bunny and Peter Rabbit soon find themselves in serious trouble in Mr McGregor's garden. Their plan to retrieve Peter's clothing (learn all about how it was lost in "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" by Beatrix Potter) backfires when they are trapped by the McGregor's dangerous cat.

Fortunately, Benjamin's fearless daddy comes to their rescue and is quick to remind the cat who is really in charge in the garden. Unfortunately for the bunny boy cousins, Mr Bunny loves the boys enough to discipline them for their reckless day of mischief. Benjamin's and Peter's garden adventure ends with a sound spanking.

"The Tale of Benjamin Potter" was published in 1904. It is the sequel to "The Tale of Peter Rabbit" (1902). This timeless classic story still captures the imaginations of children today.
