Today my son got the start number 291, he had to wait for a long time until everyone was send off, just before the race the conditions were perfect no rain, shortly before it was my son's turn it started pouring down like crazy. The heavy rain made the conditon of this track almost not rideable anymore, at the first hill there was slipping and sliding all over the place. The first attempt he didn't get very far. He then turned down again but had to maneuvre out of the way and ended up in the ditch. It took a while to get out the heavy Honda CRF250L, but somehow he managed it. Now he was suffering a bit of exhaustion already, but he still wanted to make a second attempt, this time he got further up the hill, but the owner of the field adjecent wasn't happy about that and started hitting riders with her stick. To avoid an accident he had to stop and try to push further up, shortly after that the clutch was through and he had no other chance than to give up.
