An Astronomer Hikes Hoosier Ridge
Here I hike about half of Hoosier Ridge, just east of Hoosier Pass. The trail starts on the backside of Mt. Silverheels and then turns into a ridge that goes toward Red Mountain. Across Colorado 9 sits the back side of the DeCaLiBron, Travers Peak, Wheeler Mountain, Quandary Peak, and Pacific Peak. I got up to about 13,200 ft, while the ridge goes a few hundred fee higher.
