The Rotate Canvas Tool is a very simple function that allows you to rotate the canvas you are working on. Why you would need to rotate the canvas is entirely up to you, but it is important to remember you are rotating the canvas and not the image itself.
Using the Rotate Canvas Tool
---------------------------------------------------------------------
1. To access the Rotate Canvas Tool, click on the hand icon in the
Tool Bar (leftmost side of your screen) and select the Rotate View Tool option. You can access the tool quickly on the keyboard by pressing the R key.
2.) Click and drag on the image to rotate it. You can rotate it as many times as you like, and the tool has handles to allow you to hit exact angles.
3. At the top Options Panel you can specify angles by entering any degree you need, reset the rotation, or rotate all your windows simultaneously. The Rotate Canvas Tool is very simple, but effective when needing to examine your image from different perspectives.
