Connect with the NETGEAR installation assistant: To use the NETGEAR installation assistant, you must launch a web browser from
a computer or mobile device.
Netgear N300 EX2700 Setup: PS Method
For Netgear EX2700 Setup (N300) using WPS:
Turn on your Netqear N300 EX2700 WiFi range extender.
Place our extender close to your WiFi router.
Plug your extender into an electrical outlet.
Wait for the Power LED on Netgear EX2700 to light green.
O Press the WPS button on the extender.
Netgear EX2700 Manual Setup
For Netgear EX2700 manual setup using installation assistant:
1 Turn on your Netgear N300 EX2700 extender.
2 Place your extender close to your WiFi router.
3 Plug your extender into an electrical outlet.
4 Connect your router to the extender.
5 Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device and enter www.mywifiext.net.
6 The NETGEAR installation assistant displays.
7 Follow the prompts to connect your extender to your existing WiFi network.
8 Move your extender to a new location
9 If you get no connection or a poor connection, move the extender closer to your router and try again until the Link Status LED
lights white.
10 After you find the best location for your extender, connect your client devices to the extended WiFi network.
