Making a Tilt-Shift Shader in the Godot Game Engine

when I was playing Link’s Awaking on switch I looked at the tilt shift effect, I knew I had to put this fun game down, jump into Godot and start writing a Shader to do the exact same thing. Because I love fun. And I couldn’t think of anything more fun then a Shader. They bring some really cool effects to games and Definitely don’t make you want to rip your eyes out.


There's no Depth of Field in 2d so for a world map it would make a cool effect to simulate. And in 3D there is DOF but it can only do depth far and near. So at certain angles it can be difficult to get the effect working.
