fuboTV review: Everything you need to know
fuboTV has quietly sneaked onto the scene with a high quality channel lineup, cloud DVR and 1080p resolution.
For a while now, when people wanted to watch live soccer games online, they would turn to fuboTV.
Subscribing the service is certainly cheaper than heading out to the local pub every time your favorite Futbol team was playing.
But fuboTV is now vying to be much more than just a platform to watch live sports.
Offering up to 70 HD channels like A&E, Bravo, FX and Viceland, fuboTV is poised to compete with Sling TV, PlayStation Vue and DirecTV Now.
In some respects, fuboTV is already beating the competition.
It offers a DVR service, which Sling TV and DirecTV Now has been slow to roll out. fuboTV also streams in 1080p and 60 frame rates per second.
That’s a feat that none of its competitors can currently claim.
Like other live streaming services there’s no annual contract. fuboTV does offer an annual plan that’s a one-time payment at a discounted price, or a monthly payment option. But subscribers can easily cancel anytime online without any penalty or fees.
If your TV watching primarily consists of a wide variety of sports teams based in the U.S. and internationally, fuboTV is the best streaming service around.
The bonus is this: If you’ve been wanting a live TV streaming options but needed a channels like Bravo or Oxygen network for your girlfriend or wife, fuboTV now has you covered.
You can also watch all NBA games, NHL, NCAA College Basketball, NASCAR, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League, Premier League, LaLiga, SERIE A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Primeira Liga, Liga MX, and Copa Libertadores.
At the moment, app authentication does work with many TV Everywhere applications for NBC. A fuboTV representative told me that this is a work in progress. The company is awaiting word for more approvals from NBC, NBC Sports and Golf apps. Fox and the A&E channel are also expected to authenticate through a fuboTV subscription soon. This is a big plus.
