In AutoCAD, the Polygon, Hatch, and Gradient tools are essential for adding shapes, patterns, and colors to your designs, enhancing visual clarity and aesthetics.

Polygon Tool: Use the Polygon command to create closed shapes with multiple equal-length sides (e.g., hexagons, pentagons). Start by typing POLYGON in the command line, enter the number of sides, specify the center point, and then choose either "Inscribed" (inside a circle) or "Circumscribed" (outside a circle) to define its size and placement.

Hatch Tool: Hatching fills an area or closed boundary with a pattern, which can represent materials, textures, or simply emphasize areas in a drawing. Use the HATCH command, then select the area to fill. You can choose from various preset patterns (e.g., ANSI, ISO), and adjust properties like scale, angle, and pattern type for customization.

Gradient Tool: Gradients create a gradual color transition across a closed shape, adding depth and emphasis. Access it with the GRADIENT command, then select the desired area. You can specify colors for the start and end points of the gradient, adjust the direction, and set the style to linear or radial for different visual effects.

Using these tools in AutoCAD enhances both the functionality and visual impact of your drawings.
