How to sync audio in Premiere Pro if you cannot sync clips

I ran into some audio desync or audio drift errors while filming for the Rode Wireless Go video using the Canon EOS R and Elgato Cam Link 4K. It was an error on my part. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find much information on how to resolve the issue (maybe just not knowing what to search for?) Anyway, I came up with this little workaround.
