Funeral procession for fallen HFD firefighter Marcelo Garcia III
The procession for fallen Houston firefighter Marcel Garcia III happened on Sunday morning, when firefighters and staff of the Houston Fire Department carried Garcia’s body from the Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office to the Forest Park Lawndale funeral home, located at 6900 Lawndale. Garcia is the 83rd firefighter to die in the line of duty death in Houston Fire Department history and the first in two years.
