In this video, I'll show you how to deal with a chosen source becoming a red dot or square in the corner of your OBS.
This sometimes happens when you're trying to add a new source view into OBS but then for some reason it becomes a red dot that you cannot expand. You might find that if you click the red square, it will disappear. This is quite an annoying issue as obviously you cannot then record that source. in OBS, so here's the fix.
Note that this problem is often due to you having the same source in different scenes in OBS.
So if you find that's the case, then rather than creating a new source, use the same one in multiple scenes.
To fix the problem the easiest thing to do is to right click on the red dot, then click transform and "fit to screen" or "stretch to screen" this will then expand the view so it fills it up. If you find that you cannot right click on the red dot in OBS then the other option is to right click the source in the source list in the bottom of OBS and follow the same steps to transform the source. You can then resize the source as you normally would and it shouldn't be a problem!
