"People Helping People" is music, lights, and dancing. It's a happening and an experience. And everywhere they go they draw raves.
Nowhere else is so much thought, planning and building for the future going on as in the helping professions. From "People Helping People's" birth, this musical has been a dream. Its people have been dreamers. From X-ray technicians to special education teachers, firemen to nurses, maintenance to dental hygienist it has been a giant experience in living and working together, changing and growing, within and without.
"Picture in your mind a 12 piece orchestra and 12 attractively costumed singers and dancers performing original and standard musical scores on a multilevel stage framed in a white backdrop on which brightly colored slides are projected...That's "People Helping People'!! They are traveling representatives of the various helping professions, reflecting the important role these professionals play as people helping people.
From concert halls to city streets, in an electrifying two-hour show, the cast weaves its special magic and gets an audience involved...All of their songs bring a tender message of love and understanding of the participants' working environment, of their responsibilities and mos of all, of their belief in people.
