Most governments have recognized the urgent need to make full use of digital technology to serve the needs and interests of individuals, businesses and society. But that’s much easier said than done. How do you go about doing that?
One example of such an effort is “GovTech Centre”, an inter-ministerial team working at the Prime Minister’s Office of Poland and tasked with implementing technological and organizational innovations across the Polish public sector.
For this session we were joined on March 4th, 2021 by Justyna Orłowska, the Polish Prime Minister’s High Representative for Government Technology and also Head of the Polish Government’s GovTech Centre, and Antoni Rytel, Vice-Director of the GovTech Programme. We heard from both Justyna and Antony how the unit operates and how they are helping the Polish public sector change and adapt.
