Microsoft's $69 billion deal finally went through and they acquired Activision, Blizzard, and King. The most insane acquisition in gaming history. This means that Microsoft and Xbox own a LOT. Although, it may only be on par with what Sony and Nintendo have at the moment. Xbox as a company has been trailing Sony for a while in terms of sales and exclusives in the console space, but there huge upside is Xbox Game Pass. This is a great service, although I fear in the future that we will own nothing... With more and more games coming to it and possibly being exclusive in the future, what if we have no control over games we want or own? I mean this is already happening since games have been download-only or online-only.

I think this acquisition is overall good for now, but idk about the future. It's good for Microsoft fs tho. The real question is... did Microsoft just save and ruin gaming in 1 move?
