Veeam Overtakes Veritas in Market Share
There's a new king of the backup mountain. When it comes to market share of the enterprise backup space the new leader is Veeam, at least according to Gartner. They have displaced the former leader, Veritas, who had been on top since the beginning. The market grew over 5% last year and Veeam had the biggest growth out of everyone. The remaining companies saw smaller growth overall but did not shrink according to the Gartner numbers.
