NHSGGC - Breast Cancer Screening - English
This short video will inform women aged 50-70 about Breast Screening. Women are invited to participate every three years and it explains what to expect when you attend your screening appointment. Due to Covid-19, staff will be wearing extra protection including face coverings and you will be asked to wear one too. If you have any symptoms of Covid-19, you must not attend your appointment.
Breast screening doesn't prevent cancer, but can detect cancer. Breast screening saves 130 women’s lives each year in Scotland.
