Next spring will be obscure and dissonant! Dusktone is proud to announce the release of the second SONUM album, titled “The Obscure Light Awaits”. The follow-up to the successful “Visceral Void Entropy” will be unleashed on April 11th! The first track, called “Trapped In The Labyrinth Of Aberration”, is already out. We’re talking about a dark, technical and nightmarish journey you will surely love!

The band comments about their comeback and the new record:
“The (r)evolution of SONUM to a three-piece band had a relevant reflection in our artistic equilibrium and obviously in our composition process, and this radical change took shape in this new full-length album. Our intent was to guide the listener into a musical labyrinth, where the dimensions of the inner universe dissolve into dystopian realities painted with anguish, despair, melancholy & rage: chaotic atmospheres intertwined with ethereal interludes, dissonances collide with compelling melodies…and lethal lyrics are unleashed by a new voice behind the microphone, to crown a constantly evolving musical approach."

The record has been recorded/mixed by Luca Dal Lago in Vicenza; the cover is an extract of a concept artwork digitally realized by M. Marchesini.
