EMS FOTO GROUP SESSION 2 : CATALINA ISLAND : SPRING 2019

DEDICATED to his father and photography mentor, Lou Swenson, Eric Minh Swenson (EMS) founded the EMS Foto Development Group (EMSFDG) in Hollywood, California in the Spring of 2019. EMS is the premier chronicler and documentarian of arts and culture in Southern California and beyond. EMS is an ardent supporter of the arts through continuing coverage at art openings, artist studio visits, non-profits, international art fairs, through the medium of photography, film, and writing.

the EMSFDG is a band of professional photographers and aspiring hobbyists that meet monthly at a designated spot to patrol an area and document the environment for a few hours. Each photographer will submit their favorite image from the expedition to be posted in an online gallery on a monthly basis.
Each photographer will get a monthly opportunity to explore an area among peers and produce a body of work outside of their comfort zone. Final submitted work must be produced and sent within a week hours of the walkabout which is presented through ongoing social media films. Expeditions will be either open to the public or closed for select photographers.
EMS Legacy Films is a continuing series of short films produced by EMS on artists and exhibitions.
