Let’s see how to watch ITV on desktop PCs first, it’s very similar for both Windows and Mac.

I start by downloading the VPN: on Windows, I will go to the provider’s website, and on Mac, just get it from the Apple store.

Installation can take some time, so at the same time, you need to get a login now. For that, you need to buy a subscription, but in Surfshark’s case, there’s a free trial for Android, iOS and Mac, which I can get and then apply on Windows as well.

Once you have the app and the account, proceed to login and here is your main app window. I know, it’s preferable to download the ITV player app usually, but this app is geo-blocked. That means it’s impossible to get without a UK Apple or Google account, and making one of those is a huge time waste that can be easily avoided.

That’s why I will proceed to my browser and login to the ITV website, just like on the desktop. With my cache and cookies cleared beforehand, I can watch ITV easily!
