Hi everyone. My name is Steven Faddis. I am a physician assistant in cardiothoracic surgery here at Norton Healthcare. Uh, I got into cardiac surgery because it allows me to see patients through all aspects of care before surgery in the operating room and after surgery. So we're able to follow up with you throughout your whole journey with Norton and through a, a big time in your life having to see the cardiac surgery department. We see you from the start. We see you when you come to our office or if we see you in the hospital, we're able to meet with you and talk with you about what you're going through, what medical condition yet you have, and able to walk you through the steps and be with you side by side through the whole journey and through having a procedure or an operation. And through the end, we follow up with you in the clinic, um, until, um, you're discharged from our practice and, and in good, safe hands with your primary care provider or another provider that you see on a regular basis.
So we're with you through all of it. So I am from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I did my undergrad at the University of Kentucky and I went to PA school in West Liberty, West Virginia, which is right in between Ohio and Pennsylvania, right outside of Wheeling, West Virginia. Um, I brought, I was brought to Norton Healthcare, um, through an opportunity to return to Kentucky, um, where I went to school. But I started my career in Dallas and I had an opportunity to open up here. Um, that was great for me and my family. And so that's why we're back in Kentucky. Anything sports related is something that I'm interested in. Um, NFL football, Kentucky Wild Cats, um, a little bit of baseball and hockey, hiking, walking my dog, hang out with my wife and just hang out with our friends and making the most of it here in town.

Steven M. Faddis, PA-C, is a physician assistant with Norton Heart & Vascular Institute. He completed his physician assistant studies in West Virginia.
He specializes in aiding patients who undergo cardiothoracic procedures throughout the entirety of their journey. Steven believes keeping patients educated, making informed decisions together, and allowing them to be included in the decision-making process gives them the best opportunity for living a healthier life.
Steven is a native of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking and watching various sporting events.
