A quick, easy to follow in-depth guide / tutorial on how weapon tuning works in Modern Warfare 2. You unlock the ability to tune attachments when you get a gun to max level. This will unlock the Tune button in the gunsmith and allow you to increase and decrease the pros/cons of attachments. Attachment tuning is available for the barrel, muzzle, underbarrel, ammunition, optic, stock, and rear grip slots but not for laser and magazine attachments. Tuning an attachment is specific to the stats of that specific attachment and optics can even give you flinch resistance which is pretty great.
